About the Company: MariMed, Inc. is a publicly traded cannabis company that operates cultivation, processing, retail, and a portfolio of branded products across multiple states. National consumer brands include Nature's Heritage™, Kalm Fusion™, and Betty's Eddies™, with more forthcoming.

Location: Massachusetts – North Shore (focus on northern accounts, with statewide travel as needed)

Reporting to: Associate Director of Trade & Field Marketing

Marimed Inc. is seeking an outgoing and charismatic Brand Ambassador to create and execute tailor-made sales and marketing plans to engage customers. Our Brand Ambassadors are our boots on the ground. As the face of our brands, you will promote and educate customers about all Marimed’s brands in stores and at various events in the field. You will build relationships with key strategic partners, manage store territories, collect customer data, provide sampling and product demonstrations, engage budtenders, and help sell through product. In this role, you will largely be responsible for encouraging the growth of brand awareness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent all MariMed brands with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Engage with customers in-person in friendly and informed manner
  • Schedule and conduct in-store pop ups and other industry events through best-in-class implementation of marketing activations
  • Create unique customer experiences to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty
  • Communicate facts regarding proper dosing, nutrition, and key functions and benefits of the cannabis products
  • Provide non-infused samples and gift branded swag to interested consumers
  • Educate account Customer Advisors on all MariMed products
  • Track all activity and consumer insights/feedback though digital recaps
  • Merchandising: Build out in store displays as directed
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with industry and dispensary contacts
  • Be the eyes and ears or MariMed from the field, reporting observations regarding retail accounts as well as competitor activity
  • Collaborate with Trade and Field Marketing leadership to align activities with company objectives.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, events, or customer service as related to the industry
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
  • Must be able to submit to and clear a comprehensive background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable vehicle with sufficient space to transport event supplies
  • Punctuality, exceptional time management skills
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to travel independently within Massachusetts, with emphasis on North Shore Region
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • Passion for the cannabis industry
  • Strong visual, written and verbal communication skills
  • Is self-motivated and a self-starter, but takes direction well and is a team player
