Job Title: Business Processes Consultant

Purpose and Objective:   

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions.  

Expectations and Tasks:  

Map business processes to solution requirements. Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Support solution design and configuration across multiple solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries. Support pre-sales activities. Support and deliver solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Support partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Deliver customer workshops. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates and content. Deliver solution training to customer project members. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Show comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; delivers according to specification and provides feedback for continuous improvement. Support in solution testing and issue resolution.  

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Position requires at least two (2) years of experience in each of the following: 

  • SAP ERP platform architecture, analysis, design, enhancement and implementation; and 

  • Defining secure ways to connect to customer systems, analyzing customer requirements to design and implement scalable SAP Solutions, and executing subsequent implementation of customized SAP solutions. 

Position also requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: 

  • Analytics and Data Visualization tools and concepts; 

  • Root cause analysis and delivering analytics development and support services in multi-tiered system environments; and 

  • Defining secure ways to connect front-end reporting tools to databases and executing subsequent development and implementation of analytics solutions. 

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic or international travel to various unanticipated customer sites to implement customer procured solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency : The annual base salary range for this position is $125,923 - $143,910. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,923 - $159,900 . The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
