Job Description

Yutori Method™ is managing the recruitment for this role.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

About The Company

Diversified Botanics is a vertically integrated botanical wellness company that develops, manufactures, and scales science-backed consumer products across a growing portfolio of brands.

Operating out of a large-scale manufacturing facility in Utah, the company combines in-house research and development, production, and brand building to bring products to market with speed and consistency.

Unlike traditional operators, the company is intentionally building an AI-forward infrastructure to streamline decision-making, compress operational complexity, and increase execution velocity across the organization.

As the company continues to expand its portfolio of brands and products, it is building the operational infrastructure needed to support consistent execution across product development, manufacturing, and go-to-market.

The Opportunity

We are not simply hiring for a role — we are looking for an outlier operator .

This is someone who can step into a clearly defined integrator role today, while having the capacity, adaptability, and ambition to evolve alongside a rapidly changing organization. The right person will not only execute within the current structure, but will grow with the business as it scales, systems mature, and new opportunities emerge.

Today, this is a true execution-focused Chief of Staff role. You will serve as the operational engine of the company — ensuring that decisions made by leadership turn into real, measurable outcomes. This role is centered on execution — ensuring decisions translate into results, accountability is maintained, and initiatives are fully delivered.

You will work directly with senior leadership — translating direction into action, mobilizing teams, and building the operating cadence that keeps the business moving forward. This is a role for someone who thrives in motion — who sees ambiguity as an opportunity to create clarity, and who takes pride in bringing initiatives across the finish line.

This search places a strong emphasis on the who . We are looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional ownership, high agency, and the ability to take the lead without waiting for direction — someone who can operate effectively today while being prepared to step into greater scope over time.

Over time, this role evolves beyond execution into systems leadership and operating partnership — helping oversee the infrastructure that supports multiple entities and lines of business. For the right person, this is not just a role, but a long-term growth path into one of the most leveraged operational positions in the organization.

  • Are comfortable holding senior leaders accountable and having direct, honest conversations
  • Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where structure needs to be built in real time
  • Have strong business instincts and can make decisions without perfect information
  • Are energized by being on the ground, close to operations, and connected to how work actually gets done

  • Ensure every initiative has a single accountable owner responsible for delivery
  • Drive operational cadence (weekly execution meetings, initiative reviews, follow-through)
  • Monitor progress, remove bottlenecks, and push initiatives through to completion

Leadership Accountability:

  • Reinforce ownership and accountability across department leaders
  • Ensure leaders are prepared with updates, decisions, and next steps
  • Hold teams accountable to commitments and address stalled execution directly
  • Establish escalation pathways to resolve cross-functional friction quickly

CEO Leverage & Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary operational escalation point before issues reach the CEO
  • Translate leadership decisions into actionable plans with clear ownership
  • Maintain visibility across all active initiatives and surface risks early
  • Act as the connective tissue across CEO, strategic architect, and department leaders

Financial Execution Discipline:

  • Partner with finance to maintain visibility into performance and profitability
  • Identify operational inefficiencies impacting margins and drive corrective action
  • Ensure initiatives involving spend have clear accountability and expected outcomes

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Notion, Asana, or ClickUp
  • Has strong AI profieciency, in the top 25% of adaptors of new technology and tools
