Job Description

Contract Administrator (Hybrid – Plainfield, IN)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contract Administrator to support contract management and joint-use coordination activities. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at the Plainfield, IN Complex at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage contract award activities and schedules
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Review invoices to confirm alignment with contract provisions and completed work
  • Maintain contract records, correspondence, and action logs
  • Develop reports, presentations, and project status updates
  • Manage contract approvals and change requisitions
  • Ensure confidentiality of supplier pricing and sensitive information

SPANS & Proposal Coordination:

  • Monitor and review 400–800 daily SPANS alert emails to determine required follow-up
  • Respond to proposal inquiries or route them to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Assign new attachment requests to engineering vendors within SPANS and track progress
  • Ensure timely routing and processing of proposals in compliance with FCC and state utility commission timelines
  • Investigate and respond to customer requests regarding proposal status, including construction schedules, engineering timelines, and invoice updates

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to analyze information and make timely decisions
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with contract administration, utilities, or telecommunications is a plus

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid schedule: minimum 3 days onsite in Plainfield, IN
