The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a Court Aide in the Utica City Court in Oneida County, NY. Court Aides are responsible for transporting furniture, equipment, and other bulk objects between offices, courtrooms, judges' chambers, and other courthouse locations. Court Aides also perform messenger duties and a variety of routine clerical and other related tasks. This position is assigned to Utica City Court but will also cover other courts and facilities in Utica and Rome.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Successful completion of the eighth grade or the equivalent.
Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry objects that weigh up to fifty pounds and the ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods and possess a valid N.Y.S. driver's license. Travel is required throughout the district.
Base Salary: $43,669
