Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced EHS Territory Manager to support safety operations for construction and maintenance projects, primarily in the power generation sector. • Conduct project audits — typically visiting the following week to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support hiring processes for field teams with safety input and guidance.
  • Perform incident investigations when required, including stepping in for the EHS Director during absences.
  • Complete required safety-related documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping accurately and on time.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to field leadership to ensure safety requirements are understood and met.
  • Maintain a presence in the office during slow seasons (some weeks may be entirely office-based).
  • Coordinate with clients on environmental considerations (hazardous waste, stormwater, etc.) when necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field OR equivalent field safety experience.
  • 8+ years of construction safety experience (EHS management, safety auditing, safety plan development).
  • MSHA certification preferred
  • Strong background in construction safety (industrial, mechanical, power generation).
  • Proficiency in incident investigations, safety audits, and OSHA compliance .
  • High comfort level with technology (reporting systems, mobile apps, MS Office, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload without daily direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance topics (hazardous waste handling, stormwater management) is a plus.

Travel & Work Expectations

  • Travel: 75%
  • No remote work except for occasional personal needs.
  • Overnight stays are provided when more practical than extended same-day travel (per diem provided).
  • Company Vehicle will be provided

Compensation & Structure

  • Base Salary: $90,000–$120,000
  • Alternative Options:
  • Hourly pay.
  • Salary + OT eligibility (straight-time rate; OT requires prior approval).
  • OT is limited and subject to approval; overnight stays are preferred to extended daily drives.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong safety mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel schedules. You will be trusted to represent the EHS function independently, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the company’s commitment to safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
