Job Description

Duration: 12 month contract with extensions likely

Location: 75063 - 5x/week onsite

Rate: $75/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Primary requirements/skills:

  • 6-7+ years of experience hands-on coding for fullstack software development
  • Strong experience with C# and modern .NET (8+)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Frontend experience with Angular 17+ and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and MongoDB or NoSQL data modeling
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills

Plusses:

  • Background in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse operations, or industrial automation environments
  • Experience with Oracle EDS or ERP integrations

Day to day:

The Fullstack Software Engineer will serve as a hands‑on contributor on a backend‑heavy, cloud‑hosted middleware application that connects physical warehouse automation systems to enterprise ERP platforms. This role will focus about 80% of the time on new feature development and 20% on maintenance and production support. The engineer will spend the majority of their time building new functionality, implementing business logic, and developing scalable backend services using C#/.NET (8+), while also contributing to the Angular 17+ frontend as needed. Other responsibilities would include troubleshooting production issues, addressing bugs, and optimizing existing services surfaced through operational workflows. The engineer will work closely with the Lead Engineer and Scrum Master, participate in agile ceremonies, and own assigned backlog items end‑to‑end. Responsibilities also include contributing to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging across APIs, logs, and data flows. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and support the mentorship of the junior engineer.
