Investment Banking Senior Analyst - - Software Internet & Technology Enabled Services

Presidio is seeking a Senior Analyst to add to our Technology investment banking team in our San Francisco Bay Area office (Marin County). Our office is located in Larkspur, CA.

PTP provides merger & acquisition, recapitalization, and capital raising advisory services. Our professionals possess deep expertise in technology & software with vertical expertise in transportation SaaS, insurance SaaS and real estate SaaS. Transportation SaaS is our most active vertical. Presidio has closed 26+ transportation SaaS transactions in 3.5 years (record years for the company), with a robust M&A pipeline for 2026 and beyond including several large deals. Presidio closed 6 deals in 2025 in the transportation software ecosystem. 

Job Responsibilities

Presidio is actively seeking a Senior Analyst interested in being part of a growing, entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Analyst position offers candidates the opportunity to gain valuable financial modeling skills, work closely with senior members of the Technology team and gain exposure to the entire deal execution process. As a senior analyst on the Presidio technology team, you will assume significant responsibilities related to deal execution and deal pitching. We look for candidates who are effective at working in a team environment, and who are interested in a long-term investment banking career.

Responsibilities Include:

• Detailed Financial Modeling: construct and maintain complex financial models and customer cubes. Deep knowledge of gross and net revenue retention calculations, and other SaaS KPIs is highly valued (revenue retention, revenue bridge, ARPA growth, cross-sell and upsell analyses, revenue segmentation analysis, sales efficiency etc.)
• Valuation Analyses: create and maintain precedent transactions, public trading comparables and merger models. Conduct in-depth industry research and demonstrate key valuation drivers for valuing SaaS companies.
• Marketing Materials Preparation: Prepare client presentations, pitch books, teasers, confidential information memoranda and other transaction-related marketing materials.
• Industry Research: Conducting detailed industry research and assessing market data trends.
• Buyer Universe: Developing and updating buyer universes and profiles for both relevant strategic buyers and private equity investors.
• Support Pre and Post LOI Due Diligence Processes: Create and organize comprehensive data rooms, supplemental diligence materials and help manage due diligence correspondence and buyer Q&A
• Interface with Senior Management and C-Suite Executives: Collaborate with executive leadership to craft powerful marketing materials and financial analyses

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Successful candidates will have exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork, excellent communications skills and a passion for learning. Ideal candidates will have prior investment banking experience at bulge bracket firms or other elite boutique banks.

Desired skills include:

• The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business, economics, accounting or a related field
• At least one year of technology investment banking experience
• Detail oriented with a strong understanding of the financial statements
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Intellectual curiosity and resourceful self-starter
• Excellent business judgment and ethics
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in an energetic, fast-paced environment
• Live in the San Francisco Bay Area (or be willing to relocate) and work in the Larkspur office 5 days a week

Full Time Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $135,000.00 annual salary
