Maintenance Technician

$24-$27 per hour plus monthly bonus and employee ownership.
Flexible Materials Inc . is a manufacturing company specializing in real wood veneer products. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant operations and help keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a first shift, Monday through Friday position with consistent hours, a strong team environment, and the opportunity to share in the company’s success through employee ownership and a reliable monthly bonus program.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Perform maintenance on presses, rollers, and material handling equipment
- Support plant systems including compressed air, dust collection, and facility systems
- Complete preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Help minimize downtime and support production efficiency
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read schematics and work independently
- Experience with production equipment preferred
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Work environment
- Manufacturing facility with exposure to dust, noise, and moving equipment
- Active role requiring standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
