Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Knoxville, TN, for a talented and dedicated Mammographer. The Mammographer will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures, biopsy procedures, and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols, and provide compassionate care to patients. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating specialized radiologic equipment, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Mammography certification.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and compliance practices
  • Experience or training in Radiology with a focus on mammographic imaging procedures
  • Strong understanding of medical practices and patient care standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide empathetic patient care
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program and state licensure as required
