Job Description

Our client is a growing, high‑quality construction firm known for its craftsmanship, strong client partnerships, and reputation in both the private and public sectors. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Marketing Director to elevate their brand, lead a talented team, and partner closely with Business Development to drive visibility and growth.

Your new role

As the Marketing Director you will be responsible for setting the overall marketing strategy and ensuring flawless execution of all branding, communication, and proposal efforts. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and enjoys shaping the marketing function of a growing company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
  • Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy, including annual plans, campaigns, and KPIs.
  • Oversee all branding initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging across digital, print, and in‑person touchpoints.
  • Manage marketing materials, collateral, and content creation (brochures, case studies, project sheets, digital assets).
  • Plan and coordinate industry events, networking events, and company‑sponsored activities.
  • Partner closely with the Business Development team to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Lead proposal management, ensuring all RFP responses are complete, compliant, compelling, and delivered on time.
  • Maintain and evolve the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media, and email marketing.
  • Ensure brand positioning resonates across both private and public sector audiences.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry opportunities to inform strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience within the construction or professional services industries.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Business Development teams.
  • Proven background managing private and public sector marketing and proposals.
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing abilities.
