Job Description

Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 500 + provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. The schedule consists of working full time or part time with a traditional 4-day work week plus call (1:4), located in Ontario, OR - SAMC Ontario.

This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.

Our 10-bed LDRP Unit with a 2-bed newborn nursery in Ontario, OR (60 miles west of Boise) is clinically integrated with the Obstetrical Unit and accommodates an annual delivery rate of 400+ babies. It is the only facility in Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties providing care by OBGYNs providers for infants >36wks CGA.

Requirements :

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency
  • Certification by the ABOG or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
  • NCC EFM certification within 6 months
  • Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC – Ontario
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA
