About the Company

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to oversee and execute the proposal development process for government construction and disaster recovery projects.

About the Role

As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing high-volume bids, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, and maintaining quality standards across all submissions. This is a fully onsite opportunity requiring exceptional writing skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of proposals, including drafting, editing, and submission, for government-funded construction and disaster recovery projects.
  • Analyze and interpret RFPs to accurately outline requirements and develop tailored responses.
  • Utilize established templates, primarily in Canva, to create customized and client-specific proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary content and ensure timely submission of bids.
  • Maintain precision and organization while managing multiple concurrent proposals.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance across all proposal documents.
  • Support bids for coastal and inland disaster recovery projects, including hurricane and tornado-related initiatives.
  • Monitor industry standards and funding mechanisms to align proposals with client needs.
  • Commit to occasional extended hours during peak proposal submission periods.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal management, ideally within government construction or disaster recovery sectors.

Required Skills

  • Strong skills in writing, editing, and ensuring compliance with RFP guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high levels of organization.
  • Familiarity with government funding mechanisms and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Tomball, Texas.
  • Willingness to commit to additional hours during busy proposal cycles.
