Senior Accountant
A stable, globally operating organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers strong visibility, hands-on ownership, and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements
• Support year-end audit and financial reporting requirements
• Partner with AP and AR teams to ensure accuracy across functions
• Assist with budgeting, analysis, and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with strong general ledger exposure
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Experience:
• Exposure to financial reporting and audit processes
• Experience working in a mid-to-large company environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Great Plains a plus)
