Job Description

Sr Salesforce Developer

Brooksource is seeking a Salesforce Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable solutions within a complex Salesforce environment supporting enterprise-level business processes. This role focuses on delivering secure, high-quality applications, integrating with external systems, and enhancing user experience through both declarative and programmatic solutions The Developer works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with architectural standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce-based solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to user story refinement, acceptance criteria definition, and sprint planning
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining a strong focus on user experience design
  • Develop and support Salesforce OmniStudio components including FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures
  • Build and maintain integrations using Salesforce APIs, REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, and external systems such as DocuSign
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, and contribute to development best practices
  • Support enterprise-scale, multi-org Salesforce environments with complex security and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with shared services and integration teams to ensure seamless system interoperability
  • Implement and support accessibility-compliant (508) user interfaces using LWC and modern UI practices
  • Assist in release management and deployment processes using DevOps tools such as Copado
  • Contribute to Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, including data ingestion, identity resolution, and data governance
  • Support AI-enabled capabilities such as prompt orchestration, guardrails, and auditability features (e.g., Agentforce/EIN)
  • Document technical designs, system interactions, and development processes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer in full lifecycle implementations
  • Strong experience developing solutions using Salesforce APIs and third-party integrations (REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, DocuSign)
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments with acceptance criteria-based user stories
  • Proficiency with Salesforce OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
  • Experience with multi-org Salesforce environments and enterprise-scale applications
  • Strong understanding of application security and complex permission models
  • Experience performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting UAT
  • Experience contributing to technical estimation, sprint planning, and code reviews
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud (data ingestion, identity resolution)
  • Experience with Copado DevOps pipelines and release management
  • Knowledge of AI-driven features such as Agentforce/EIN (prompt orchestration, guardrails, auditability)
  • Experience designing user-focused, accessible interfaces (including 508 compliance considerations)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Project, Visio) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving in a senior developer role on full lifecycle Salesforce implementations
  • Experience working in highly regulated or complex enterprise environments
  • Advanced knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and modern UI/UX design principles
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Integration Architect)
