Job Description

Paradigm is searching for a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to support our client, a global leader in the legal industry. The SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist plays a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions to support Legal Services projects. Working closely with architects and project managers, this role requires strong SQL expertise, strategic thinking, and adaptability to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes in a dynamic team environment.

Type: 1 year contract

Location : Fully Remote, USA

As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist you will :

• Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems

• Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets

• Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements

• Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project

• Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements

• Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

• 5+ years’ experience in leading the development of technical solutions

• 10+ years’ experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases

• Proficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred

• Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholders

• Comfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders

• Must enjoy and have experience working in a fast paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting priorities

• Advanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL code

• Experience performing complex data analysis of huge datasets
