Job Description

Role will oversee warehouse and manufacturing facility inventory operations, including shipping, to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse performance, floor space utilization, and inventory control aligned with production and customer demand

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse and manufacturing operations, including storage, inventory management, receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate shipments via company trucks and common carriers.
  • Mentor warehouse staff and promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Analyze inventory processes and implement a cycle count program across both facilities to drive improvements.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (UCR, IRP, IFTA, HVUT, SCAC, and all state/highway regulations) for logistic and fleet operations.
  • Negotiate carrier rates and terms, monitor performance, and optimize freight lanes to maximize cost savings.
  • Leverage Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other technology to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure seamless operations and clear communication.
  • Monitor the impact of process changes using data and metrics to track performance.
  • Conduct physical counts, cycle counts, and assist with BOM (Bill of Material) audits to maintain inventory accuracy.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in Operations, Warehousing, or a similar role
  • Knowledgeable in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other technologies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead processes, excellent problem solving and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
