Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with deep expertise in electronics manufacturing to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building, optimizing, and scaling complex electronic assemblies, from prototype through full production while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.

You will play a critical role in bridging design and production, ensuring that sophisticated electronic systems are manufactured efficiently, repeatably, and at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies (PCBAs, box builds, and system integration)
  • Translate engineering designs and schematics into robust, scalable production processes
  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), supporting builds from prototype through full-rate production
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues at the component, board, and system level; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Partner closely with design engineering to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles are embedded early
  • Define and validate manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and test strategies (ICT, functional test, boundary scan, etc.)
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Analyze yield, scrap, and rework data to improve product quality and process capability
  • Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process flows, and technical documentation
  • Evaluate and implement automation solutions for electronics assembly and test

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–7+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing (high-reliability or regulated environments preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with PCB assembly processes (SMT, through-hole, reflow, wave soldering, conformal coating, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of electronic components, schematics, and circuit functionality
  • Experience with test methodologies and equipment (ICT, functional testing, oscilloscopes, signal analysis, etc.)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to component level
  • Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and working closely with design teams
  • Experience with process validation, PFMEA, control plans, and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
