Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Portfolio Director for Global Patriot Missile. You will be responsible for meeting the AOP and executing toward the 5-year plan for the existing programs and growth opportunities. You will also be responsible for establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution across all Global Patriot Missile product line scope, supporting both business and customer requirements.

You will be the primary Global Patriot product line contact for execution of all related existing contracts and new business pursuits, interfacing with the Global Patriot PMO, Requirements & Capabilities team, Engineering, Legal, Global Supply Chain, Contracts, and Finance. You will support the development of capability roadmaps driven by evolving needs and ensure alignment with the product roadmaps/development programs for the Global Patriot missile product portfolio and customer capability needs.

A key element of this role will be maturing the strategy for the next Patriot Missile and providing support to the Global Patriot PMO and Requirements & Capabilities team to capture new business. Additional expertise is required in advising customers on new products that provide value from our portfolio. This role supports the interface with senior MOD staff across the customer base when questions arise with Global Patriot missile programs.

Additionally, this position oversees a team of product line program leads that are the primary interface between the Patriot Missile product Line and the Global Patriot PMO. Additional challenges include supporting the development and implementation of localization strategies and creating new business opportunities across multiple countries for both FMS and DCS contracts.

What You Will Do

  • Overall leadership of the Patriot Missile product line program interface and capture strategy for product evolution
  • Establish and maintain key program metrics, define program milestones/critical path, and monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules
  • Support the resolution of escalated program risks across the portfolio and similarly escalate as appropriate
  • Develop and lead a team of direct and indirect reports. Focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward the program team, enabling them to achieve desired results
  • Support the development and execution of capture strategy for next Patriot Missile
  • Establish and build strong customer and industry partner relationships
  • Act as empowered authority to accomplish program objectives
  • Lead and/or support new and sustaining business activities to include proposals, ARs and strategic planning with a focus on optimization, affordability and continuous production
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 14 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following: program management, engineering, and/or development programs
  • Leadership experience managing risk, cost, quality, and schedule for multiple programs with domestic and international customers
  • Experience leading a team including members from engineering, operations, integrated supply chain, and/or quality

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Understanding of the DoD acquisition environment and processes, along with US Army/PM SHIELD and various contract types including domestic, FMS, Cost-Plus, FFP & FPIF
  • Demonstrated experience managing large/complex program execution, including development, production and/or localization
  • Strong proficiency in developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing approved plans
  • Patriot Hardware experience
  • PMX Level 4 Certification

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
