Job Summary:

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—set on over 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028. Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator/Clerk is responsible for supporting inbound and outbound logistics activities through accurate documentation, system transactions, and communication with internal and external partners. This role ensures incoming/outgoing shipments are properly recorded, scheduled, and processed to support efficient material flow within the facility.

The position works closely with dock operations, warehouse teams, carriers, and production to ensure timely receipt and shipment of materials while maintaining accurate records and compliance with operational procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process inbound receipts and outbound shipments in systems to ensure accurate inventory and shipment records
  • Verify shipping and receiving documentation including bills, lists, and delivery paperwork
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound scheduling with carriers, dock teams, and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement, shipment status, and inventory transactions
  • Communicate with warehouse, dock, and production teams regarding shipment status, delays, and priorities
  • Support carrier check-in and check-out processes, including documentation verification and dock assignment coordination
  • Track inbound deliveries and outbound shipments to ensure on-time performance and escalate delays as needed
  • Assist with inventory control processes including discrepancy reporting and documentation support
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, shipping requirements, and documentation standards
  • Support preparation of shipping documents, labels, and system entries for outbound loads
  • Maintain organization of shipping/receiving records and ensure audit readiness
  • Assist with reporting and tracking of logistics metrics such as shipment accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Support and maintain 5S standards within office, dock, and warehouse areas, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and adherence to standard work practices
  • Follow and support all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and standard work practices while performing daily logistics and administrative activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company and department goals

Required Education, Training, & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or administrative support role
  • Experience with shipping and receiving documentation preferred
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred)
  • Familiarity with logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory records
  • Organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and escalate discrepancies or delays
  • Knowledge of 5S, standard work, and disciplined process execution in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a startup manufacturing environment
